ในช่วงเทศกาลคริสต์มาสที่สวีเดน และประเทศส่วนมากในแถบนอร์ดิกจะนิยมดื่มเครื่องดื่มชนิดหนึ่ง ทำจากไวน์แดงอุ่นให้ร้อนผสมเครื่องเทศ น้ำตาลเล็กน้อย และผลไม้เช่นส้มฝานบาง เสิร์ฟร้อนหรืออุ่น ภาษาสวีดิชจะเรียกว่า “Glögg” แต่ถ้าเป็นภาษาเดนนิสกับนอร์วิเจียนจะเรียกว่า “Gløgg“
ถ้าเอามาจาก Wikipedia ให้คำจำกัดความของไวน์อุ่นว่า “Mulled wine, variations of which are popular around the world, is wine, usually red, combined with spices and typically served warm. Nowadays, it is a traditional drink during winter, especially around Christmas and Halloween”.
และที่ประเทศสวีเดน (Sweden) ก็ยังนิยมกิน Ginger cookies หรือคุ๊กกี้ขิงอีกด้วย
