ESN ย่อมาจาก Erasmus Student Network เป็นองค์กรที่ไม่แสวงหากำไร มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อสนับสนุนนักเรียนแลกเปลี่ยนในยุโรป (ทุน Erasmus) ได้มีกิจกรรมและแลกเปลี่ยนวัฒนธรรมกัน

ทุน Erasmus หรือ The Erasmus Programme ย่อมาจาก European Region Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students เป็นทุนที่ให้แก่นักเรียนแลกเปลี่ยนที่ศึกษาในยุโรปมาตั้งแต่ปี 1987
The Erasmus Programme (European Region Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students), is a European Union (EU) student exchange programme established in 1987.
Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is a not-for-profit international student organisation. ESN’s mission is to represent international students, thus provide opportunities for cultural understanding and self-development under the principle of Students Helping Students.
ปัจจุบัน ESN มีสมาชิกมากกว่า 12,000 คน จาก 34 ประเทศ อาสาสมัครทำงานให้กับนักศึกษาแลกเปลี่ยนกว่า 150,000 คน
สำหรับที่ Linnéuniversitetet (Linnaeus University) เมืองคาล์มาร์ (Kalmar) ประเทศสวีเดน (Sweden) ก็มี ESN เหมือนกัน ชื่อว่า ESN Kalmar (http://www.esnkalmar.org) และตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 มิย. 2010 ที่ผ่านมา ESN Kalmar ได้แยกตัวเป็นอิสระจาก Student Union
ESN Kalmar จะจัดกิจกรรมในราคาที่ถูกมากให้สมาชิกเป็นประจำ
